**Group Overview**
The DEE Tech Mastering team are responsible for acquiring, mastering, and archiving titles produced by Hulu, Disney Branded Television, ABC Signature, 20th Television, FX Productions, Freeform, Andscape, Onyx, and third-party production entities. The Manager, Media Asset Prep will oversee an on-premise team of eight who are accountable for accurate and timely processing and ingestion of long form and short form media assets. Media Asset Prep team works in a 24/7/365 department within Disney Mastering.
**Job Summary**
The Manager, Media Asset Prep will oversee shift specific teams accountable for accurate and timely preparation including ingest, conformance, editorial, encodes, transcodes, fixes and validation. Leads collaborative efforts between external vendors and internal partners to ensure high level of services and spec compliant assets. Serves as representative accountable for process efficiency, resource scheduling, and overall integrity of department workflows.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the processing, preparation, and management of media assets in a results- driven environment.
- Accountable for ingest and acquisitions activities, performing editorial, encodes, transcodes and packaging.
- Lead and develop a strong, high functioning team.
- Ensure prompt resolution of high level issues related to file integrity, media attributes, and content compliance.
- Interface with engineering and IT teams for equipment maintenance and future needs.
- Track productivity and create best practices, SLAs and metrics for workload.
- Determine scaling for resources, software purchases and improvements as business needs evolve.

**Required Education, Experience / Skills / Training**
*Education:* College Degree Preferred (Media/Cinema/Post Production preferred).
*Preferred:*:
managed teams in post- production/media encoding/content servicing; expert understanding of mastering/QC and delivery requirements (ProRes, IMF); 2+ years management; 5 years encoding/transcoding/editing; experience with NLE and mastering tools; cloud architecture (AWS) preferred; SQL/Python/command line a plus.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
