Responsibilities
- Assessment & Planning: Identify students' specific needs, evaluate their progress, and design structured, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Instructional Adaptation: Modify and accommodate general education curriculums to suit individual learning speeds and styles.
- Collaboration: Partner regularly with general education teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and parents to ensure a unified support system.
- Behavioral Support: Implement effective behavioral management strategies and social-emotional growth plans to create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Resource Management: Utilize specialized instructional techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive materials to facilitate learning.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field (such as Child Development or Psychology).
- Certifications: State-mandated special education certification or licensure (e.g., in India, an RCI-approved B.Ed).
- Patience & Empathy: A high degree of compassion and patience for working with diverse learners and managing potential behavioral challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities to communicate effectively with parents and faculty regarding a child's development.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
