Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 8–10 under the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, fostering scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and academic excellence while preparing students for CBSE assessments and board examinations.
Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery
- Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) as per CBSE guidelines for Grades 8–10.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with CBSE learning outcomes and competency-based education.
- Integrate practical applications, experiments, and project-based learning into classroom instruction.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, observation, and problem-solving skills among students.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
- Maintain discipline and encourage active participation.
- Support diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct periodic tests, quizzes, practical assessments, assignments, and projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for CBSE examinations through competency-based assessments and exam-oriented practice.
Laboratory & Practical Work
- Plan and supervise science laboratory activities.
- Ensure safe handling of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Promote hands-on learning experiences and STEM activities.
Parent & School Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes, educational technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
- Maintain lesson plans, assessment records, and academic documentation as required by CBSE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related Science discipline.
- B.Ed. qualification (preferred/mandatory in most CBSE schools).
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Proficiency in English communication and classroom management.

Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
