2. JOB PURPOSE:
The Fitter is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in the flour mill.
This involves ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and functioning efficiently.

Oversee maintenance staff and assign daily tasks
Monitor performance and provide feedback and training
Ensure all maintenance activities meet company standards
Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment
Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
Inventory
Management
Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
Track usage and avoid overstocking or wastage
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Provide training on safety protocols to staff
Conduct regular safety audits
Coordination with
Other Departments
Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure
equipment is functioning correctly
Address immediate maintenance issues promptly
