The role involves preparing 3D models, piping layouts, isometric drawings, support drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable international codes, client specifications, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop piping layouts based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and process requirements.
- Prepare 3D piping models for process, utility, and offsite piping systems.
- Perform piping routing considering accessibility, maintainability, safety, operability, and constructability.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping plans, sections, and elevations.
- Generate piping isometric drawings with BOM and MTO.
- Design and model piping supports in coordination with the stress analysis team.
- Prepare nozzle orientation studies and equipment interface layouts.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and HVAC disciplines.
- Participate in model reviews, constructability reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Resolve clashes using 3D model clash detection software.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, project standards, and international codes.
- Assist procurement by preparing Material Take-Offs (MTO) and technical clarifications.
- Support site engineering teams during construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Review vendor drawings and incorporate equipment interfaces into piping models.
