Key Responsibility-
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets Ensure maximum uptime of machine and utility.
- Monitor curing press utilization and optimize machine productivity.
- Minimize production losses and downtime.
- Coordinate with upstream and downstream departments for smooth production flow.
- Monitor and control curing parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedure.
- Monitor curing related defects like- under cure, over cure, blister, air trap, blunt edge, cut etc.
- Coordinate with quality department for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Supervise shift manpower and allocation effectively to achieve production targets.
- Conduct on job trainings and operator skill development.
Equipment and Maintenance-
- Monitor performance of curing presses, molds, and auxiliary equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Report equipment abnormalities and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare technical specification and work instructions of new equipment & machinery and process.
Safety & Compliances-
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Ensure proper usage of PPEs and adherence of safe working practices on work station.
Key Performance Indicators-
- Production Output
- Press efficiency
- Rejection %
- OEE
- Down Time Analysis (Uptime)
- Prepare daily production reports and KPI dashboard.
- Maintain process and quality records.
Skills Required-
- Knowledge of curing process and curing press operation.
- Understand of rubber technology and its process.
- Knowledge of steam, compressed air and utility.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiar with TPM / Lean Manufacturing / 5S/ OEE
- MS Excel and Data Analysis, report preparation
Qualification-
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or related engineering discipline with experience in rubber industry
Age- 25-30 years Experience – 1-2 Years CTC- 2.5-3.0 LPA
Location- Jejuri (Pune)
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
