Essential Qualifications & Experience (as per AICTE/UGC/BCI norms) Autonomous university; experienced candidates preferred.
- Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Management/Law or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional leadership.
- At least 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles such as Professor/Principal/Dean/Registrar/Director.
- Proven track record in academic excellence, accreditation, institutional development, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Governance:
- Provide visionary leadership for the overall growth and development of the institution.
- Formulate and implement strategic plans aligned with the institution's mission and long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including AICTE, UGC, BCI, NBA, and NAAC norms.
- Strengthen institutional governance, policy implementation, and administrative excellence.
Academic Excellence and Quality Assurance:
- Promote academic innovation, research excellence, and outcome-based education.
- Lead accreditation, ranking, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement in teaching-learning processes.
- Encourage faculty development, research publications, patents, and funded projects.
Institutional Development and Resource Mobilization:
- Build strategic partnerships with industry, academia, government, and international institutions.
- Facilitate resource generation through grants, consultancy, collaborations, and alumni engagement.
- Oversee infrastructure development and optimal utilization of institutional resources.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
- Mentor Principals, Deans, faculty, and administrative leaders across institutions.
- Strengthen industry relations, placements, and corporate partnerships.
- Promote student-centric initiatives, innovation, entrepreneurship, and holistic development.
- Represent the institution at national and international forums.
