A P Associates is a leading civil construction company executing government and private infrastructure projects. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client safety requirements.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
- Organize toolbox talks and safety awareness training for workers and staff.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Maintain safety records, registers, and documentation.
- Conduct safety audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure safe work practices for excavation, scaffolding, work at height, lifting operations, electrical safety, and confined space work.
- Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment, and first-aid arrangements.

Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in any discipline
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (Mandatory)
- NEBOSH / IOSH Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience as a Safety Officer in civil construction, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial building projects.
- Experience in Government projects will be preferred.
