Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Education Teacher for our institution located in Thane. The position requires a candidate with a minimum of 2+years to a maximum of 6+ years of work experience. This is a full-time role, where the incumbent will contribute to nurturing a healthy and active lifestyle among students through effective physical education teachings and curriculum execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have excellent skills in sports coaching (Mandatory skill) to guide students in various sports disciplines and enhance their physical abilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (Mandatory skill) to maintain a safe and secure environment for all physical education activities.
- Possess a BPED degree (Mandatory skill) which is fundamental for delivering high-quality physical education sessions.
- Experience designing a comprehensive physical education curriculum that meets educational standards and promotes student engagement.
- Capability to conduct fitness assessments to evaluate and improve students' physical health and abilities.
- Effective classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment during PE sessions.
- CPR and First Aid certification to promptly address any emergencies that may arise during physical activities.
- Knowledge in adapted physical education to provide inclusive sports activities for students with special needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with the school's curriculum standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and report on students’ progress and physical development.
- Promote and maintain a safe learning environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Organize school sports events and encourage student participation in sports at various levels.
- Cultivate a supportive and motivational atmosphere that encourages all students to improve their fitness levels.
- Integrate adapted physical education techniques to accommodate students with disabilities.
- Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to monitor and support students' physical health and well-being.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
