- Install, test, and maintain solar PV electrical systems, including DC and AC equipment.
- Perform installation of PV modules, DC cables, cable trays, junction boxes, combiner boxes, and connectors.
- Carry out electrical wiring and termination for inverters, transformers, LT/HT panels, switchgear, and distribution boards.
- Perform cable laying, glanding, crimping, termination, and megger/continuity testing.
- Assist in installation and maintenance of earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Conduct DC string testing, polarity checks, insulation resistance tests, and open-circuit voltage measurements.
- Assist with inverter commissioning, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project procedures.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults, loose connections, cable damage, insulation failures, and equipment abnormalities.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of solar plant electrical equipment.
- Monitor electrical equipment and report abnormal readings, faults, and potential failures to the supervisor/engineer.
- Read and understand single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and electrical layouts.
- Maintain proper records of testing, inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment readings.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams during installation and testing activities.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working area.
- Support the electrical engineer and supervisor during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during plant operation to minimize downtime and power-generation losses.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
