Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC /VTL/HMC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC/VTL/HMC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and path of the tool.
- Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and report machine issues.
- Measure finished parts using instruments like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or Machinist trade (preferred).
- 3 - 10 years of experience operating VMC machines.
- Familiarity with CNC controls.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Basic knowledge of tooling and offsets.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
