About the Role
4PM News is looking for a creative Video Editor & Motion Designer who can produce engaging, high-quality videos for digital news platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, experience with motion graphics, and the ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom.
Responsibilities
- Edit news videos, explainers, interviews, and social media content.
- Create motion graphics, animations, titles, lower-thirds, and visual effects.
- Deliver fast-turnaround edits for breaking news.
- Collaborate with producers, anchors, and the editorial team.
- Ensure videos meet brand and editorial standards.
- Optimize content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in video editing and motion design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Good understanding of typography, animation, transitions, and storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in news or digital media is preferred.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
