Key Responsibilities
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Design and execute schedules for routine inspections to prevent equipment failure and ensure long-term reliability.
- Breakdown & Emergency Repair: Rapidly troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize production disruptions.
- Utility & System Management: Monitor and maintain critical facility utilities, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, water treatment, and compressed air.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP), environmental regulations, and general workplace safety protocols.
- Inventory & Spares Management: Identify, order, and track critical spare parts and maintenance supplies to avoid delays during repairs.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate recurring equipment failures to implement permanent technical solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives like TPM or Six Sigma.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, equipment history cards, and performance metrics in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: Typically requires 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
