Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro), website performance optimization, and WordPress coding standards. The candidate should be capable of building scalable, secure, and SEO-friendly websites while following industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Create dynamic and flexible content management solutions using ACF Pro.
- Implement reusable Gutenberg blocks using ACF Pro and custom development approaches.
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and page speed metrics.
- Ensure websites are mobile responsive, cross-browser compatible, and SEO-friendly.
- Perform website security hardening and implement WordPress security best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and external services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues, plugin conflicts, and server-side problems.
- Conduct regular website audits, maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, QA teams, and project managers.
- Follow coding standards, version control practices, and documentation procedures.
Required Skills & ExperienceExperience
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Proven experience delivering custom WordPress projects in production environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Extensive experience with WordPress CMS architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with ACF Pro (Advanced Custom Fields Pro).
- Experience developing custom post types, taxonomies, field groups, and dynamic templates.
- Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and REST API.
- Experience building custom themes from scratch.
Performance Optimization
- Strong knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
- Experience improving Core Web Vitals scores.
- Expertise in:
- Page speed optimization
- Image optimization
- Database optimization
- Caching mechanisms
- Lazy loading
- CSS/JS minification
- CDN implementation
- Server-side optimization
- Experience using tools such as:
- Google PageSpeed Insights
- Lighthouse
- GTmetrix
- WebPageTest
WordPress Best Practices
- Strong understanding of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of security best practices including:
- Input sanitization
- Data validation
- SQL injection prevention
- XSS protection
- CSRF protection
- Experience with SEO best practices and schema implementation.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive development.
- Experience with Git version control and deployment workflows.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
