Job Description
EBG Group is looking for a skilled Backend/Web Developer to take ownership of our digital infrastructure across a diverse portfolio of brands. You will manage, maintain, and develop 50+ websites and landing pages, oversee backend systems, hosting infrastructure, security, and integrations while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain 50+ websites and landing pages across multiple brands.
- Develop and optimize backend applications using Node.js.
- Work with WordPress, Shopify, Framer, and custom-built websites.
- Handle website updates, bug fixes, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Manage hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and server configurations.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean).
- Implement website security best practices and performance optimization.
- Integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and third-party services.
- Maintain Git repositories and deployment workflows.
- Monitor website uptime, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Document technical processes and mentor junior developers when required.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js.
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Framer, and custom web development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub.
- Strong knowledge of hosting, DNS, SSL/TLS, and server management.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing multiple websites simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Technical SEO implementation.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Docker and containerization.
- SQL & NoSQL databases.
- CMS architecture and plugin development.
- E-commerce and payment gateway integrations.
