The AV Programmer will be responsible for programming and configuring audiovisual systems for a variety of installations and events. This includes programming control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operation of AV systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AV hardware, software, and control systems, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Program, configure, and integrate AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSYS, Kramer, etc.) for new installations and system upgrades.
Develop and customize user interfaces for clients, ensuring ease of use and functionality.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Troubleshoot AV system issues on-site, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct system tests and ensure systems are fully functional before handover.
Provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technology trends and advancements.
Document system designs, programming code, and project changes.
Offer post-installation support and perform system maintenance as needed.
Proven experience as an AV Programmer or similar role in AV integration or installation.
Strong proficiency in programming AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSYS, Kramer etc.).
Knowledge of audio, video, and networking technologies, including IP-based control and automation.
Experience with multimedia systems, video conferencing setups, and digital signage.
Ability to work well under pressure, especially in fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant certifications or training (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.) is a plus.
