Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes for automotive components. The candidate will be responsible for process planning, production support, cycle-time reduction, productivity improvement, process optimization, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices while ensuring quality, safety, and cost objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive components, including CNC, VMC, HMC, turning, and grinding operations.
- Prepare and maintain PFD, SOP, Work Instructions, Process Sheets, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Study engineering drawings, GD&T, customer requirements, and plan machines, tools, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools.
- Improve productivity, OEE, machine utilization, cycle time, and optimize manpower through time studies and line balancing.
- Support NPI, process trials, new product development, and validation of jigs, fixtures, gauges, and special-purpose machines.
- Support customer complaints and internal quality issues related to manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing related documentation as per QMS/IATF requirements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement initiatives for cost and process efficiency.
- Perform root-cause analysis and support PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, MSA, process capability, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, PPC, Purchase, and Design teams while ensuring quality, safety, customer requirements, and EHS compliance.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
