Database Architecture & Design : Design and implement scalable, high-availability SQL Server database architecture. Define data models, schema standards, and database design best practices. Lead database strategy for performance, scalability, and reliability. Architect solutions for OLTP, data integration, and reporting workloads. Establish governance standards for database development and deployment. SQL Development : Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Design efficient indexing strategies and query optimization techniques Build data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL Server tools. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues. Implement data validation and integrity mechanisms. Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize query execution plans, indexing, and database performance .Implement partitioning, indexing strategies, and caching mechanisms, Conduct database tuning and capacity planning. Ensure optimal performance for large-scale transactional systems Security & Governance :Implement database security best practices. Manage access control, encryption, and auditing. Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies. Collaboration & Leadership :Collaborate with application developers, architects, and DevOps teams. Provide technical leadership and mentoring for SQL developers. Participate in architecture reviews and system design discussions. Support Agile development teams and CI/CD data workflows.
