- Supervise and manage the payment posting team.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet SLAs.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Train and mentor new and existing team members.
- Handle escalations and resolve complex posting issues.
- Oversee accurate posting of insurance and patient payments (EOBs/ERAs).
- Ensure proper adjustment posting (contractuals, denials, write-offs).
- Monitor unapplied and unidentified payments.
- Review zero-payments and denial postings for accuracy.
- Ensure reconciliation of deposits and daily balancing.
- Perform regular quality audits of posted transactions.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and payer-specific guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and audit standards.
- Identify and reduce posting errors and rework.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality reports.
- Analyze trends in payment variances and denials.
- Provide insights to management for process improvements.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with AR, Billing, and Denial Management teams.
- Support automation initiatives (ERA, EFT, RPA processes).
Monitor KPIs such as:
- Posting accuracy rate
- TAT (Turnaround Time)
- Productivity per FTE
- Reconciliation accuracy
- Minimum 4 years of Medical Billing Experience is Payment posting process.
- Minimum 2-year experience as a Team Leader.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including ability to organize and manage human resources to attain goals.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
- Expertise with MS Office tools like PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Preferred Qualification – Any Graduate.
