About the Role
BharatCares is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional to lead the implementation and management of CSR-funded skilling and employability programs in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The Associate Manager will play a critical role in designing, executing, monitoring, and scaling technical skilling initiatives that enhance employment opportunities and support India's transition towards a green economy.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in technical and vocational education, workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and project management, with exposure to industry-relevant technical trades and emerging green job sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation
- Support the design, planning, and execution of CSR-funded skilling and livelihood projects.
- Ensure timely implementation of project activities in line with approved work plans, budgets, and donor commitments.
- Coordinate with implementation partners, training providers, and field teams to ensure quality program delivery.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes to ensure effective execution.
Technical Skilling & Employability Programs
- Manage and monitor technical and vocational training programs across trades such as:
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Technician
- HVAC Technician
- Multi-Skill Technician (Electrical)
- Assistant Electrician
- Solar Panel Installation Technician
- Other industry-relevant technical and green skilling trades
- Ensure training programs align with industry requirements, occupational standards, and employment opportunities.
- Promote market-linked skilling interventions that improve employability and livelihood outcomes.
Stakeholder Management & Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, CSR partners, training institutions, Sector Skill Councils, government departments, and industry associations.
- Facilitate collaboration with employers and industry partners for placements, apprenticeships, and workforce integration.
- Represent BharatCares in stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and field visits.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track key program indicators including mobilization, enrollment, attendance, certification, placements, retention, and impact metrics.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality and implementation progress.
- Prepare project reports, donor updates, presentations, case studies, and impact documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS management and project documentation.
Placement & Industry Linkages
- Strengthen employer networks to facilitate quality placement opportunities for trainees.
- Support job fairs, placement drives, industry exposure visits, and career guidance activities.
- Monitor placement outcomes and post-placement retention to ensure sustainable employment.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organizational SOPs, and relevant government regulations.
- Coordinate audits, assessments, monitoring visits, and documentation reviews.
- Maintain high standards of project governance, accountability, and reporting.
Team Coordination
- Work closely with project coordinators, trainers, mobilizers, and partner organizations.
- Provide operational guidance and support to field teams for effective project delivery.
- Foster collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Social Work, Rural Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in Skill Development, Employability, Livelihoods, Workforce Development, or CSR Program Management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing technical and vocational skilling programs.
- Experience working on CSR-funded, government-funded, or industry-supported skilling initiatives.
- Strong understanding of skill development ecosystems, employability frameworks, and industry engagement models.
- Experience in placement facilitation and employer engagement will be preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
