Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and technically skilled 3D Printer Trainer to conduct hands-on training sessions for school students and teachers. The trainer will be responsible for teaching 3D design, 3D printing technology, machine operations, troubleshooting, and project-based learning in schools. The ideal candidate should be capable of simplifying technical concepts and inspiring students to innovate through design thinking and digital fabrication.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Teaching
- Conduct 3D Printing and 3D Design classes for students from Grade 5 to Grade 12.
- Teach students software such as Tinkercad, Fusion 360, Blender, or other CAD tools.
- Deliver project-based learning sessions aligned with STEM, Robotics, AI, and Design Thinking curricula.
- Train school teachers on basic 3D printing operations and maintenance.
Technical Responsibilities
- Setup, calibrate, and maintain 3D printers.
- Monitor print quality and optimize print settings.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to 3D printers.
- Manage filament inventory and machine maintenance logs.
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment within the lab.
Project Development
- Guide students in designing and printing real-world projects.
- Support innovation challenges, exhibitions, science fairs, and competitions.
- Develop educational content, worksheets, and project manuals.
- Assist in creating prototypes for school innovation labs.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain attendance and training records.
- Share periodic student progress reports with schools and management.
- Coordinate with school authorities for scheduling and lab utilization.
- Submit monthly activity reports and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of 3D Printing Technology and Additive Manufacturing.
- Experience with FDM 3D Printers (Creality, Bambu Lab, Prusa, etc.).
- Proficiency in Tinkercad, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, or similar software.
- Understanding of STEM, Robotics, and Design Thinking concepts.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to school students.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Certification in CAD Design or 3D Printing is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in 3D Printing, STEM Education, Robotics, or Technical Training.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience working in schools, STEM labs, Atal Tinkering Labs, or Skill Labs.
- Passion for education and student engagement.
- Willingness to travel to schools for training sessions.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience and technical expertise)
