Job Description – L1 OpenShift/OpenStack Support Engineer
Experience: 0–1 years
Location:Noida (training + deployment)
Role Summary
Entry-level engineer to provide L1 support and monitoring for OpenShift/OpenStack infrastructure, after undergoing structured in-house training.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor OpenShift/OpenStack environments for alerts, incidents, and performance issues
- Perform basic troubleshooting of pods, nodes, VMs, and services under L1 scope
- Log, triage, and escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams per defined SOPs
- Execute routine health checks, backups, and log reviews
- Update tickets/dashboards (ServiceNow/Jira or client tool) with accurate status
- Follow runbooks for restarts, failovers, and standard remediation steps
- Coordinate with L2 team during shift handovers (24x7 support by team)
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Unix/Linux commands and file systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts
- Basic troubleshooting and analytical mindset
Good to Have
- Any Linux/cloud certification (RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+, etc.)
Qualification:Any graduate (BE/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc – IT/CS preferred)
Training Scope
- Duration: 1-2 weeks for L1 OpenShift/OpenStack
- Delivery: Classroom/instructor-led at the Noida followed by shadow/OJT on live tickets
Location & Logistics
- Office Address: Sector 62 Noida
- Shift Pattern: 24*7 rotational shift
Pay: ₹2,000,000.65 - ₹2,900,000.33 per month
