Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting machines for the production of high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setup, material handling, quality inspection, and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Set up machines, load programs, and adjust cutting parameters as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely.
- Monitor machine performance during operation and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning activities.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
- Minimize material waste and optimize machine utilization.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow workplace safety regulations, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and production reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹11,444.79 - ₹27,261.65 per month
