We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Database & Backend Developer (Fresher) with a strong foundation in SQL and Stored Procedures (Oracle or PostgreSQL). In this role, your primary focus will be designing, optimizing, and maintaining backend database logic to ensure seamless data validation, log tracking, and workflow management.
While the core focus is database engineering, familiarity or academic exposure to C/C++ is highly preferred, as you will work closely with our core system-level engineering modules. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in building enterprise-level relational database structures and low-latency backend architectures.
- Database Logic & Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, triggers, packages, and custom functions in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Data Validation & Integrity: Design database schemas and constraints to ensure high data integrity, accurate log tracking, and smooth enterprise integrations.
- Performance Tuning: Identify database bottlenecks, analyze execution plans, optimize slow-running queries, and implement indexing strategies to minimize latency.
- Backend Integration: Collaborate with core backend engineers to integrate relational database logic with system-level modules and multi-language SDKs.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Analyze database logs, error reports, and application behaviors to diagnose and resolve data-flow anomalies.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for database designs, schema architecture, and pseudocode logic for complex procedures.
- Databases: Solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS), specifically Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Database Programming: Deep, hands-on knowledge of writing and troubleshooting Stored Procedures, triggers, functions, and relational queries.
- Data Foundations: Strong understanding of relational data modeling, normalization, indexing, and transactional concepts (ACID properties).
- Problem Solving: Excellent logical thinking and ability to draft pseudocode to plan out complex data manipulation logic.
- Languages: Foundational knowledge or academic exposure to C and C++ (specifically understanding how application code interacts with databases).
- Object-Oriented Concepts: Understanding of basic OOPs principles to align with backend infrastructure.
- Data Formats: Familiarity with handling and parsing structured data formats like XML and JSON within the database.
- Exposure to basic server environments (Windows/Linux) and basic software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Sharp analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and validation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to document workflows clearly.
- A proactive approach to learning new database technologies and optimization tools.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience (Freshers with strong academic/personal project portfolios in SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, or PostgreSQL are highly encouraged to apply).
