Senior Engineer - Head of Department
Position Overview:
Chris Engineering Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Head of Department to join our growing team. As the HOD, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to successfully plan, design, and execute various engineering projects. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and solving complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering strategies and project plans
- Ensure timely and efficient execution of engineering projects, while maintaining high quality standards
- Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations, as well as review and approve final design plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of exceptional engineering services
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and regulations to continuously improve engineering processes and techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with a team
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of successful project management and delivery
