Job Summary:
We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to manage day-to-day inventory records for our Textiles division. You will be responsible for entering fresh stock details, tracking fabric/garment variants (size, color, material), managing purchase invoices, and ensuring our retail management software reflects precise real-time data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Inward Entry: Enter daily data of incoming textile stocks, fabrics, and ready-made garments from vendors into the accounting/retail software.
- Product Categorization: Accurately log textile specific metrics including Item Code, HSN code, Brand, Color, Fabric Type (e.g., Cotton, Silk), and Size variants.
- Barcode & Price Tagging: Generate barcode data and verify that Maximum Retail Price (MRP) and purchase prices match vendor invoices before stocks hit the retail floor.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Cross-check physical textile stock counts with digital system records to identify and report any stock discrepancies or missing counts.
- GST Invoice Entry: Assist in feeding vendor bills, tax breakdowns, and credit notes into the system for seamless accounting and tax preparation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Any Graduate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably within a retail clothing store, textile manufacturing unit, or supermarket environment. (Proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime or specific retail POS systems is a major plus).
- Typing Speed: Good typing speed (minimum 35-40 WPM) with high data accuracy.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of MS Excel (Data filtering, basic formulas) and general computer handling.
- Languages: Good understanding of Tamil (to read local bills/vouchers) and basic English.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
