Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Ayurvedic Doctor to lead the development of new Skin Care, Hair Care, and Wellness products. The role involves product research, formulation development, ingredient selection, manufacturing support, regulatory compliance, and continuous product improvement.Qualifications :
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or equivalent; Postgraduate degree in Ayurvedic Medicine is a plus.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of Ayurvedic herbs and their application in cosmetics.
- Strong research skills with the ability to translate Ayurvedic texts into practical applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for sustainability and natural beauty products.
Responsibilities:
- New Product Development (Primary Responsibility)
- Research, develop, and launch innovative Ayurvedic Skin Care, Hair Care, and Wellness products.
Formulation & Technical Support
- Develop and standardize formulations for commercial manufacturing.
- Evaluate and approve raw materials, herbal extracts, and active ingredients.
- Support scale-up activities from laboratory trials to commercial production.
- Troubleshoot formulation and production-related challenges.
Manufacturing & Quality Support
- Work closely with R&D, Production, QA, and QC teams.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved formulations and specifications.
- Support stability studies, product validation, and process standardization.
- Review batch records and formulation-related documents.
Regulatory & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with AYUSH, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review formulation records, product specifications, SOPs, and technical documents.
- Review product labels, ingredient declarations, and product claims.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on market trends, consumer demands, and emerging herbal ingredients.
- Conduct competitor product analysis and market research.
- Recommend innovative ingredients and technologies for product development.
- Create new formulations based on Ayurvedic principles, market trends, and consumer needs.
- Identify and evaluate new herbs, extracts, active ingredients, and natural alternatives.
- Conduct formulation trials, product evaluations, and performance assessments.
- Improve existing products to enhance efficacy, stability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop unique product concepts and recommend new product opportunities.
