Accountant (Payroll)
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities Accounting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Record daily accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Perform bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support external and internal audits by providing the required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable when required.
Payroll
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within the scheduled timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, allowances, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Prepare payroll journals and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Coordinate with the HR department regarding employee onboarding, exits, salary revisions, and payroll updates.
- Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA inter, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years handling UAE payroll.
- Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, and payroll accounting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹20,000.17 - ₹40,000.24 per month
Work Location: In person
