About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Store & Inventory Manager to oversee the complete inventory lifecycle, warehouse operations, material management, and stock control activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, timely material availability for production, proper storage practices, and efficient warehouse management while minimizing stock discrepancies and inventory losses.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, consumables, finished goods, tools, and spare parts.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory availability.
- Implement inventory control procedures to prevent shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliation and inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Store Operations
- Manage all inward and outward material movements.
- Verify materials received against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper material storage, identification, labeling, and preservation.
- Supervise material issuance to production and project teams.
- Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
Warehouse Management
- Organize warehouse layouts for efficient space utilization.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials as per safety standards.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) and inventory management best practices.
- Monitor housekeeping and safety compliance within the warehouse.
Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate with the Procurement, Production, and Accounts departments regarding material requirements.
- Track minimum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Support production planning by ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams for material deliveries.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Generate stock consumption reports and inventory aging reports.
- Maintain inventory records through ERP systems and Excel-based trackers.
- Assist management in inventory forecasting and planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Additional certification in inventory management or supply chain management is preferred.
Experience Required
- 3-5 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, or Inventory Management.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or industrial environments preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
