Role Summary
The Store & Purchase Executive manages end-to-end procurement of food, beverage, and operational supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records to support smooth kitchen and bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for food, beverages, brewing ingredients, and consumables to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliable delivery.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requisitions, verifying accuracy of items, quantities, and pricing.
- Obtain price quotations, compare vendors, and support cost-saving negotiations while maintaining an approved vendor list.
- Follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines and resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
Store & Inventory Management
- Receive incoming stock, verify against delivery notes and POs, and reject substandard or incorrect items.
- Maintain proper storage using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to prevent spoilage, especially for perishables.
- Issue stock only against authorized requisitions and maintain accurate records of all stock movements.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock audits to identify variances, slow-moving items, and reorder needs.
- Ensure storage areas (dry, cold, freezer) meet hygiene, safety, and food-safety compliance standards.
Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with the Chef, Bar Manager, and kitchen team to align purchases with menu and brewing requirements.
- Verify invoices against goods received and coordinate with accounts/finance for payment processing.
- Prepare regular purchase, consumption, and cost reports (e.g., food cost, wastage, stock variance) for management review.
- Track market price trends and flag significant cost fluctuations to management.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
