Key Responsibilities & Service Engineer
- Installation, Commissioning & Testing
- Install and configure ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, public address (PA)/BGM, structured cabling,
- Perform commissioning tests to ensure the system meets design intent and client requirements.
- Verify wiring, terminations, device locations, integration (e.g., CCTV with VMS, access control with alarms) and system functionality.
- Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair
- Respond to service calls, diagnose faults in ELV systems, and carry out corrective repair works to restore functionality.
- Perform preventive/planned maintenance to avoid downtime and extend system life.
- Monitor system health, maintain logs, and keep records of service interventions.
- Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, electrical/ELV codes, company policies and project specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping on site, adhere to quality procedures, and participate in inspections and audits.
- Continuous Improvement & Technical Development
- Stay updated with latest ELV technologies, tools, methodologies and industry best practices.
- Provide suggestions for system improvements, efficiencies, and cost‐effective solutions.
Typical Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication or related engineering field.
- Hands‐on experience (commonly 2-3 years) in ELV systems installation, maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Good diagnostic & problem‐solving skills for low-voltage systems.
- Effective communication skills (client interaction, team coordination).
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems and best practices.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,426.08 per month
