Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales of our Industrial Compressed Air Piping Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial compressed air systems and extensive experience in sales engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for Industrial Compressed Air Piping Systems.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, plant managers, and procurement professionals, at target accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive growth.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers and prospects on the features and benefits of our Industrial Compressed Air Piping Systems.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations that address customer needs and differentiate our solutions from competitors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers throughout the sales process and post-sale implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the industrial compressed air or piping systems industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial compressed air systems, including compressors, filters, and piping components.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a technical sales role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in all computer knowledge and Microsoft Office Suit.
- Willingness to travel 80 % of the time.
