Responsibilities
- Conduct NDT inspections using techniques such as UT (Ultrasonic Testing), RT (Radiographic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), ET (Eddy Current Testing), etc.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of findings.
- Develop and implement NDT procedures, ensuring adherence to ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, or other relevant standards.
- Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for detected flaws or defects.
- Calibrate, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of NDT equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior inspectors and technicians.
- Coordinate with quality, production, and engineering teams to ensure timely testing and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations during testing activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in NDT methods of ASNT Level II
- Strong knowledge of welding and manufacturing processes.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
