Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the furniture and interior industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, material take-offs, budgeting, and project cost control for custom furniture and interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for furniture and interior fit-out projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, shop drawings, and design layouts.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for furniture manufacturing and installation.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate estimation.
- Prepare material quantity requirements and support procurement during vendor selection.
- Compare quotations from vendors and subcontractors and conduct cost analysis.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Track project variations and prepare variation orders and cost revisions.
- Assist in preparing project reports, cost summaries, and budget updates.
- Ensure all estimations comply with project specifications and company standards.
Mandatory Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the furniture and interior fit-out industry.
- Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation for furniture projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of furniture materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Pay: ₹15,670.48 - ₹80,060.03 per month
