Job Summary
The Hostel Warden is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of students residing in the hostel. The Warden ensures discipline, safety, cleanliness, and student welfare while maintaining a secure and supportive residential environment in accordance with the college's policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesHostel Supervision
- Supervise the daily operations of the assigned hostel.
- Monitor student attendance and occupancy.
- Ensure adherence to hostel rules and regulations.
- Maintain discipline and order within the hostel premises.
Student Welfare
- Support the well-being and safety of hostel residents.
- Address student concerns, complaints, and grievances promptly.
- Guide students on hostel policies and appropriate conduct.
- Coordinate with the Head of Boarding regarding student-related issues.
Safety & Security
- Ensure the safety and security of all hostel residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel rooms and common areas.
- Report emergencies, accidents, or security concerns immediately.
- Ensure visitors comply with hostel policies.
Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hostel.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure hostel facilities are properly maintained.
Mess Coordination
- Monitor the quality and hygiene of food served in the hostel mess.
- Collect student feedback regarding food services and report concerns.
Administration
- Maintain hostel registers, attendance records, and incident reports.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports as required.
- Assist during student admissions, room allotments, and check-in/check-out procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in hostel administration, student affairs, or residential management is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with strong leadership and communication skills may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are mandatory.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to maintain discipline while being approachable and supportive.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
