Job Summary
The Warehouse Incharge is responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, documentation, and team supervision. The role ensures efficient warehouse operations, stock accuracy, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space and storage systems.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Verify shipping documents, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Track outbound shipments and resolve delivery issues.
Team Management
- Supervise warehouse assistants, loaders, and store personnel.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
- Train staff on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inward and outward stock records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Generate stock movement and warehouse performance reports.
- Ensure proper filing of warehouse documentation.
Compliance & Safety
- Implement warehouse safety procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Monitor the use of equipment and warehouse assets.
- Report accidents, damages, or operational issues promptly.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in warehouse, stores, inventory, or logistics operations.
- Experience in FMCG, Trading, Manufacturing, E-commerce, or Distribution is preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
