RRIMT invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and motivated academicians for the positions of Associate Professor and Professor in the following departments:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, academic administration, student mentoring, and industry-academia collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate courses effectively as per the AKTU curriculum.
- Develop and update course materials, laboratory manuals, and instructional resources.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
- Contribute to outcome-based education initiatives.
- Establish industry collaborations, consultancy projects, and sponsored research activities.
- Participate actively in accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance processes such as NBA, NAAC, and AICTE requirements.
- Organize seminars, workshops, FDPs, and technical events.
- Undertake departmental and institutional administrative responsibilities.
Eligibility CriteriaFor Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant branch (Mechanical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering).
- Master's Degree with First Class in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, of which at least 2 years should be post-Ph.D.
- Significant research contributions with quality publications in indexed journals.
- Experience in academic administration, accreditation processes, and project supervision will be preferred.
For Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant branch (Mechanical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering).
- Master's Degree with First Class in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 3 years as Associate Professor or equivalent.
- Strong research record with publications in reputed journals, patents, funded projects, and consultancy activities.
- Proven leadership experience in academic planning, research promotion, and institutional development.
