About the Role
ATMS & CO LLP is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliances, along with the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
- Prepare and file GST returns and support GST compliance.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
- Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Coordinate with clients for accounting and financial documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and statutory deadlines.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Scrutiny.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of Income Tax and statutory compliances.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.Com / BAF / BMS
- Experience: 1–2years in a CA Firm or Accounting Profile.
- Candidates residing in or near Thane will be preferred.
