Position Overview
We are looking for passionate and committed Math teachers who can create inspiring classroom experiences and support students’ academic and personal growth at the middle school level.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Planning & Instruction
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons with clear learning objectives
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials
- Use varied teaching strategies to address different learning styles
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments
- Maintain records of student performance and provide timely feedback
- Support improvement in learning outcomes through targeted academic strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, especially for students needing additional support
Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct periodic tests, examinations, and other evaluation methods as per school guidelines
- Correct answer scripts and update academic records within the stipulated timelines
- Prepare report cards and participate in parent–teacher meetings
- Provide accurate feedback on student development, progress, and attainment
Classroom Management & Student Development
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain classroom decorum, cleanliness, and organization
- Ensure completion of classwork and homework
- Keep documented records of notebook corrections and student work
- Identify and support students who need academic assistance or enrichment
- Encourage student participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities
- Maintain effective communication with parents through diaries and meetings
Student Wellbeing & Inclusion
- Promote fairness, respect, and equal opportunity for all students
- Foster a classroom culture built on trust, integrity, and inclusivity
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
Professional Responsibilities
- Adhere to school policies regarding punctuality, attendance, and professional conduct
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and report concerns promptly
- Participate in school events, competitions, and annual functions
- Contribute to school committees and collaborative academic initiatives
- Attend trainings, workshops, and professional development programs
- Continuously upgrade teaching skills and classroom practices
- Represent the school in academic and co-curricular platforms when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Maths
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Minimum 3 – 5years of teaching experience in Secondary school preferred
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Effective classroom management abilities
- Basic proficiency in using educational technology
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
