Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee software development and product engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing projects from conception to delivery.
Responsibility:
- Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing team workload while meeting project deadlines and milestones.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Agile Methodologies: Implement and manage Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to optimize project efficiency and responsiveness to change.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress using appropriate tools, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Training and Development: Support team members through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to promote continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development and product engineering.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and software development technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualification:
- At least have domain experience in any one of the fields – Content Management, ECommerce, Media and Entertainment, or general Enterprises
- Worked on core product engineering organization, at least one in entire professional experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
