Electrical Purchase Engineer
Role: Procurement of electrical & automation components for machinery manufacturing.
Experience: 1 to 5 years (specifically in Machinery Manufacturing)
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Role & responsibilities:
Control Panel Components: In-depth knowledge of MCBs, Contactors, Relays, Timers, and Switchgears.
Industrial Automation: Experience purchasing PLCs, VFDs/Drives, HMIs, and Sensors (Proximity, Photoelectric).
Strategic Procurement: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for electrical components like Control Panels, Wires, and Automation parts.
Vendor Management: Identify and develop a reliable network of suppliers to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and reliability.
Negotiation: Analyze multiple quotations and negotiate pricing and payment terms to secure the best deals.
Inventory Control: Coordinate with production to maintain optimum stock levels of critical electrical parts, preventing production delays.
Documentation: Generate Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP systems (Tally/SAP) and manage timely follow-ups.
Machinery Specifics: Familiarity with heaters, thermocouples, electric motors (Blower/Extruder), and digital PID temperature controllers.
Cabling: Knowledge of industrial wires and multi-core cables for machinery wiring.
Preferred candidate profile
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and ability to meet tight production deadlines
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
