Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor – Electrical to oversee electrical installation, execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities across project sites in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality workmanship, compliance with statutory regulations, effective coordination with clients and government authorities, and timely project completion while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation and execution activities at project sites.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor site manpower, contractors, and subcontractors for efficient project execution.
- Coordinate site activities to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and compliance with project requirements.
Client & Government Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, government departments, utility companies, and regulatory authorities for approvals and project-related activities.
- Coordinate with local authorities to facilitate inspections and statutory clearances.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, site records, daily progress reports, and material tracking.
- Prepare and submit project status updates to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely material availability.
Safety Management
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) guidelines.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure proper use of PPE at project sites.
Technical Support
- Resolve site-level technical and operational issues promptly.
- Support Project Managers in achieving project objectives within budget and timelines.
Eligibility CriteriaQualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in electrical project execution and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, utility, or EPC electrical projects is preferred.
- Valid Driving License will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical compliance requirements, statutory regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience in liaising with government authorities, utility companies, and local bodies.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, cable laying, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with electrical inspection and approval procedures in Delhi NCR.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
