Job Summary
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage project quantities, BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, measurements, billing, and cost control for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from drawings and specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs and measurements.
- Study architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare project estimates and cost calculations.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and construction activities.
- Prepare material quantity and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Verify site measurements and actual quantities.
- Monitor BOQ quantities against project progress.
- Prepare variation and additional-work statements.
- Check contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Assist with tender and quotation preparation.
- Maintain measurement sheets and cost records.
- Prepare quantity and cost reports for management.
- Support project cost control activities.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Freshers & experienced candidates are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, quantity take-off, and costing.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
