Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our logistics and export operations team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in freight forwarding, export documentation, and import/export customs procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle export and import documentation processes
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, and transporters
- Prepare shipping documents such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading
- Shipping Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Manage customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with clients and overseas agents regarding shipment status
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and export-import policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or export-import operations
- Knowledge of customs procedures and shipping documentation
- Familiarity with ICEGATE, shipping portals, and logistics operations preferred
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with freight forwarders or logistics companies
- Understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms)
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
