Thermoforming & Vacuum Forming Operator
Minimum 2–5 years in thermoforming / vacuum forming operations (plastics industry preferred)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation
- Operate thermoforming and vacuum forming machines efficiently
- Set and control parameters such as temperature, vacuum pressure, cycle time, cooling, and forming speed
- Ensure correct mold setup, alignment, and changeover
2. Process Control & Monitoring
- Monitor heating and forming processes to ensure proper material distribution
- Adjust parameters to maintain uniform thickness and accurate shape formation
- Identify process variations and take corrective actions
3. Quality Inspection
- Inspect products for defects like warpage, bubbles, poor forming, uneven thickness, and surface defects
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Record and report quality issues
4. Raw Material Handling
- Handle plastic sheets (PET, PP, PS, PVC, ABS, etc.)
- Ensure correct material loading and prevent contamination
- Maintain material traceability (if applicable)
5. Mold & Tool Handling
- Assist in installation, removal, and maintenance of molds/tools
- Check molds for cleanliness, damage, and proper functioning
- Ensure proper clamping and alignment before operation
6. Maintenance Support
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues
- Coordinate with maintenance team for major breakdowns
7. Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ensure safe handling of hot sheets and heated equipment
- Maintain workplace cleanliness using 5S practices
8. Production & Efficiency
- Achieve shift-wise production targets
- Minimize scrap, rejection, and downtime
- Ensure optimal machine utilization
9. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production logs, parameter records, and shift reports
- Record machine performance and output data
- Communicate issues to supervisors and next shifts
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Production output vs target
- Rejection/scrap percentage
- Machine uptime and efficiency
- Product quality compliance
- Safety adherence
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Plastics / Production Engineering
- Certification in plastic processing or thermoforming (preferred)
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
