Job Summary:
Bhim Industries Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of sheet metal stampings and machined components, is seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role involves inspection, documentation, quality system maintenance, and coordination with production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect in-process and finished sheet metal and machined parts using precision instruments (e.g., Vernier, micrometer, height gauge).
- Ensure parts conform to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation as per ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
- Identify non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist in PPAP, control plans, and other quality documentation.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring instruments.
- Train operators on basic inspection and quality procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the sheet metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, and 7 QC tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments and MS Office.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
