Steward (Restaurant/Hotel) – Job Description (JD)
A Steward is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and explain dishes or specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
- Set up and clear tables before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest requests and resolve minor complaints.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Assist in billing and payment processes when required.
Required Skills

Qualification
- 10th/12th Pass (Hotel Management certificate/diploma preferred).
