Job Summary:-
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Social Science Teacher to inspire students to understand history, geography, civics, economics, and the social sciences. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, global awareness, and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Economics at the middle school level.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Use interactive teaching methods, discussions, projects, maps, case studies, and digital resources to enhance learning.
- Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, projects, presentations, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and an understanding of current affairs and global issues.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level (preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools and educational technology.
