- Plan and deliver effective Tamil lessons as per the school curriculum.
- Teach Tamil language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students' learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
- Encourage students to develop interest and proficiency in the Tamil language.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide regular updates on student progress.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, cultural activities, and school events.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in academic planning and school activities.
- Maintain student records and complete academic documentation as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tamil / Tamil Literature or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
- TGT-level teaching experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong command of Tamil language, grammar, and literature.
- Good English communication skills.
- Excellent classroom-management and student-handling skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital teaching tools effectively.
- Passionate, patient, creative, and student-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
