About the Role We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow professional with strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, and CMDB Architecture to support the establishment of a scalable Enterprise Architecture and Application Portfolio Management framework within ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture capabilities, managing application portfolios, and designing CMDB relationships. The role will ensure accurate mapping of technology assets and enable effective governance, reporting, and operational insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture and Application Portfolio Management modules.
- Design and maintain relationships between Business Capabilities, Applications, Products, Business Services, and Configuration Items.
- Support CMDB architecture, governance, and data quality initiatives aligned with CSDM best practices.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Application Owners, and Service Management teams to maintain an accurate technology landscape.
- Build and manage application inventories, application lifecycles, technical debt assessments, and rationalization initiatives.
- Ensure proper linkage between applications, products, services, and operational records.
- Assist in application portfolio assessments, technology risk analysis, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics related to application health, ownership, lifecycle, and business criticality.
- Participate in CMDB data modeling, service mapping, and dependency management activities.
- Support governance processes and recommend best practices for Enterprise Architecture and APM adoption.
Requirements
- Manage ServiceNow experience of 7+ years.
- Utilize strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture and/or Application Portfolio Management.
- Leverage experience working with CMDB Architecture and Common Service Data Model.
- Apply understanding of Business Capabilities, Applications, Products, Services, and CI relationship mapping.
- Use experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.
- Implement knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management and Application Rationalization.
- Create and maintain application portfolios and technology inventories.
- Govern CMDB data quality management.
- Apply experience with Service Mapping and Discovery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and document processes.
Good to Have
- Obtain ServiceNow CSA Certification.
- Achieve CIS-CMDB Certification.
- Apply experience with Strategic Portfolio Management.
- Utilize knowledge of TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture concepts.
- Leverage experience with Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Hold ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Participate in large enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
